ZTE and Sudanese government in talks
The Sudan Tribune reports that the country’s minister of finance, Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, met with a representative from Chinese equipment vendor ZTE yesterday. The ZTE representative was accompanying the Chinese deputy minister of trade during his round of talks with Sudanese officials. He indicated that ZTE aims to cooperate with Sudan’s telecoms operators. No plans have yet been announced.
