Dr. Al-Jaz Calls on Arab Countries to Invest in Sudan to Solve Food Crisis in Arab World
Cairo, Dec. 21 (SUNA) - Minister of Finance and National Economy Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz has reviewed investment potentials in Sudan in all fields especially in the agricultural sector, calling on the Arab investors to invest in the country. This came in his speech before Cairo Third Investment Forum, which was addressed by the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nadhief, in the presence of investors from Arab countries. Dr. Al-Jaz called for collective efforts by the Arab countries for maximum benefit from the Arab financial capabilities in the agricultural investment to contribute to the solution of the food crisis and mitigate the effects of the global financial crisis. He pointed out that the doors of Sudan are open for Arab investments, enumerating the guarantees given by the Investment Act in the country, calling for making of strategic partnerships among the Arab countries.
