Upper Nile State affirms readiness to host celebrations of peace day
Malakal, Dec. 13 (SUNA) - Upper Nile State has affirmed its readiness to host the country's celebrations of peace day in its capital Malakal on the 9th. of next January. Governor of Upper Nile State Galwak Deng said in a statement to SUNA that preparations for the celebrations of the peace day are progressing well, pointing out that the state began its celebrations by Eid Al-Adha and then the Christmas and would be concluded by the peace day, which he said would be of development and rehabilitation. The visiting federal ministerial delegation, led by Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Harun Lual, affirmed the support of the Government of National Unity to the government of Upper Nile State in completing the development and service projects it has started, top of them the Peace Road that links the north and the south.
