Presidents Al-Bashir and Mbeki hold talks
Khartoum, Sept. 15 (SUNA) - President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and his South African counterpart Thabo Mbeki held talks at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum Monday evening on Darfur issue, the International Criminal Court issue, progress of implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement besides the efforts of UNAMID troops in keeping security and stability and securing roads and camps in Darfur. Minister of Foreign Affairs Deng Alor said in a press statement following the meeting that President Al-Bashir gave a briefing on the progress of implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and the efforts being exerted by the government to reach a comprehensive settlement for Darfur problem.
