North Kordofan Government Adopts Security Measures
Khartoum, May 9 (SUNA)- The Security Committee of North Kordofan State, headed by the state's Wali, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibarhim, met Friday and adopted a number of security measures to abort any subversive acts. The national unity government of North Kordofan State has issued a statement that included facts about the attempt of the group of Dr. Khalil Ibrahim to carry out subversive acts and to cause propaganda fuss. In a press statement to SUNA, the Wali of North Kordofan State said that the security situation in his state is stable and the conditions are normal. Dr. Ibrahim said that the state's government held a meeting with the political parties and organizations and unions and informed them on the situation, adding that the state's Legislative Council will hold an emergency sitting to discuss the issue.
