Dr. Ismail Appreciates Progress of Sudanese - Chinese relations
Khartoum 23 June (SUNA) - The Secretary of External Relations at the National Congress Party, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, has appreciated the progress of the Sudanese - Chinese relations at all domains
This came when Dr. Ismail discussed Wednesday with the visiting Deputy Chairman of the External Relations Committee of the Communist Party of China, Shau Wai Dong, progress of the relations between the two ruling parties in Sudan and China
Dr. Ismail said in a statement to SUNA that the meeting touched on the issues of Sudan as well as the agricultural projects that China will implement in a number of African countries, including Sudan
He explained that the visit of the Deputy Chairman of the National Congress for the Party's Affairs, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, to China in July would be a strong boost to the relations and cooperation between the two ruling parties and countries, besides benefiting from the experiences of the two countries in all the domains
Dr. Ismail said that he briefed the Chinese delegation on the preparations for holding of the Donors Conference for Development in Eastern Sudan, which will be hosted by sister Kuwait in next November, stressing the importance of China's participation and contribution to the development in east Sudan
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the External Relations of the Chinese Communist Party, Shau Wai Dong, said his visit to Sudan and meetings with the officials in the National Congress and other offices gave him the opportunity to exchange views on the relations between the two parties and ways to reactivate the cooperation between the two parties
He said that they visited Nahral-Neil State and witnessed the major development and the capabilities of Sudan, adding that they are confident about the future of the agricultural cooperation between the two countries
