Bombing of Civilians Continues in
South Darfur
A Military Statement
Numerous towns and villages in Muhajaria and Labado areas, south
Darfur
have been subjected to continuous bombing for the whole day, starting at
5am
.
Two Antanov planes and two Meig 29 fighters made several bombing flights, apparently to penalise Muhajaria people for their good reception of JEM troops two weeks ago.
Bombing focussed on civilian locations and away from JEM camps.
JEM appeals to the international community to enforce a no-fly zone over
Darfur
and protect innocent
Darfur
civilians against
Khartoum
government.
