Taha briefed on preparations for meeting of joint Sudanese - Egyptian Higher Ministerial Committee in Khartoum
Khartoum, Feb. 23 (SUNA) - Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Tuesday got acquainted with the current preparations for the 7th session of the joint Sudanese - Egyptian Higher Committee, due to be held in Khartoum on March 25. Taha also was informed about the agenda of the session, including joint strategic and integrated projects, top of them are projects of food security, infrastructures (roads and energy) as well as natural gas and bio-fuel. This came when he received the Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Fayeza Abul-Naja, the Minister of Agriculture and Lands Reclamation Amin Abazha, in presence of the Minster of International Cooperation Dr. Al-Tigani Salih Fedail, and the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abdul-Halim Ismail Al-Mutaafi, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan. The Minister of International cooperation said to SUNA that the Egyptian party is providing a remarkable support to Sudan in the fields of manpower capacity building and training of Sudanese cadres, affirming that they agreed on the implementation of the several programmes.
