Sudanese envoy meets JI ex-Ameer

LAHORE – Sudanese Ambassador to Pakistan Muhammad Umar Musa visited Mansoora on Tuesday evening and met with the Jama’at-e-Islami ex-Ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmed.
JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch and JI Director Foreign Affairs wing Abdul Aziz Ghaffar were also present. The two sides exchanged views on matters of interest between Sudan and Pakistan.
The Sudanse envoy said that Pakistan and Sudan were linked by strong bonds of friendship and the hearts of their people throbbed together. He said that alien forces punished both the countries for their love for Islam. The US and the Western world were targeting them especially and attempts were being made to push them towards civil war. However, he believed that the designs of the enemy would be foiled with the divine blessings of Almighty Allah.
The envoy told the JI leaders that Sudan would soon emerge a strong and developed country. He said at present, Sudan was the best place for investment and capital from all over the world was flowing there. He also invited the Pakistani brethren to avail the opportunity and invest in his country.
The envoy termed Pakistan as his second homeland and said he was thankful to the people of Pakistan for their warm love for his country.
