Freewill People Revolution Will Continue
By:Helen Andrew
More than 188 states and 20 international organizations sent a clear message to UN and its Security Council demanding the suspension of the arrest warrant for President Al-Bashir due to its harmful impact in the peace process in
Sudan especially the current efforts to reach a political settlement in
Darfur.
This stance from such countries and organizations is considered the nobles' stance over the globe that reject the double standards as they well recognize the danger over the ICC arrest warrant not only to Sudan but to all the region's countries.
The challenge facing the UN and UNSC is to affirm its mission as an organization working for peace, security and stability of the world and this could be only through listening to the voice of reason and respond to the call of the freewill nations and organizations.
If the UNSC allowed for
USA to use it as a tool to achieve its interests altogether with its allies France and
Britain it will spoil its reputation.
UNSC should well know that its mandate is to keep the international peace and security and not escalating the situations in the deemed weak countries.
UNSC should know the deemed weak countries’ revolution will continue and the Sudanese will not respond to any resolution against their symbol as they learnt from Iraq and Afghanistan the lessons and they know the mock mask of the UNSC through which it attempts to support USA, France and Britain to come back to the African continent as neo colonialists.
Any decision against President Al-Bashir will complicate the situation in
Sudan more and turn Sudanese into revolutionaries to defend their freedom and defeat all plots against their country from western parties.
The sensible figures around the world should work for peace and stability and UNSC mission should be in the same direction instead of supporting the colonial states to achieve their interests in the area.
