Dr. Al-Mutaafi and other Survivors in Plane Crash Return to Khartoum

Khartoum, Feb. 27 (SUNA)- The delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, led by the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Dr. Abdul-Halim Ismail Al-Mutaafi, Monday evening returned to Khartoum from Al-Faw town via a plane of the Police Aviation, following crash of the plane carrying the minister and the accompanying delegation while they were in an inspection tour to agricultural schemes at Al-Faw area Monday noon.
Dr. Al-Mutaafi and the accompanying delegation were received at Khartoum Airport by the Vice - President of the Republic, Dr. Al-Haj Adam, and a number of ministers and advisors.
The persons injured in the crash incident were taken to the Police Hospital for treatment.
The Minister of Interior, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, said that the incident happened after the plane took off and its emergency landing, a matter that caused its crash and burning and martyrdom of three of the passengers on board the plane.
