Chief of Dubai Police arrives in Khartoum

Khartoum, Feb. 4 (SUNA) - General Commander of Dubai Police Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim arrived Saturday in Khartoum in a five-day official visit to the Sudan at the invitation of the Director General of Sudan Police, Lt. Gen. Hashim Osman Al-Hussein. 

Gen. Tamim said in a statement to the Press at Khartoum airport that the visit comes as part of the efforts to consolidate the bilateral relations, exchange of expertise as well as reactivation of the police and security protocol signed by the two sides besides getting acquainted with the experience of the Sudanese police Forces with regard to criminal research, police Sciences and security and law. 

" The Sudanese polices forces have a rich experience and ancient history, a matter which make them assume the highest positions in the Arab and surrounding region," he explained. 

Gen. Tamim further commended the close relations linking the two countries and expressed his hope that the relations linking the Sudanese and Dubai Police Institutions be further consolidated by exchange of points of views and ideas toward the development of performance and exchange of expertise in the two countries. 

Meanwhile, General Director of Sudan Police, Lt. Gen. Hashim Osman Al-Hussein, commended the experiment of Dubai Police and thanked Gen. Tamim for accepting his invitation to visit Sudan. He also explained that the visit is a real impediment of the close relations linking the two sides and making use of mutual expertise toward the realization of security and combating all kinds of crimes. 

Gen. Hashim also affirmed that Sudan will work to make use of the experience of Dubai Police in using technology in domains of police work as well as coping with the modern technological development in order to prevent crimes.
