Nuba people in United States celebrate the Nuba Day

Are you really proud to be Nuba; or willing to support their struggle?

Do you want to gain your freedom in your own country?

Our sisters and brothers from the Nuba Mountains of Sudan sacrificed their lives in order to attain the lost freedom we once had; and for which our ancestors been fighting for centuries. The struggle of the Nuba in the last two decades in the longest civil war in Africa offered us the provision of the popular consultation through the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). So, for those who have not gotten the chance to fully participate in the war time, here is the great opportunity to contribute in the continuity of fighting for our rights.

Nuba people in the United States are campaigning for the upcoming popular consultation and the election in the Nuba Mountains by organizing a fund raising event that will take place in Des Moines, Iowa.
