Letter of condolence to the Government and the people of
Uganda
(Let their souls rest in peace)
The chairman and members of the Executive Office of the Human Rights and Advocacy Network for Democracy (HAND) express their deepest condolences to the Government and people of Uganda on the bombings of innocent civilians, which took place on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the capital Kampala, and resulted in the death and injuries of a large number of Ugandan citizens and in the destruction of public utilities.
The Human Rights and Advocacy Network for Democracy strongly condemns this bombing and considers it as a criminal act targeting the security and safety of the people and the government of Uganda. We declare that our network stands in one line with the government and people of Uganda for the security and safety of its citizens.
We express again our warmest and most heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs of
Kampala bombings.
(The Lord gave, and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the LORD.) Amen
