TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian President senior aide Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi said the country would condemn any measure harms Sudan's dignity and might.
He stressed Iran's support for Sudanese nation and government.
"What is important is dignity and might of Islamic Ummah, we defend dignity and strength of Sudanese nation and government," Samareh Hashemi told al-Alam News Network.
"We should know that the US and Zionists do not want dignity of nations," Iranian President senior aide said.
"Iranian President had views on Sudan's developments and I informed his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir of them," Samareh-Hashemi said adding he would transfer al-Bashir's comments to Ahmadinejad as well.
The Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) accuses al-Bashir of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in Sudan's Darfur region.
