President of the Republic to witness the launching of the cultural season in
Khartoum state
Khartoum /18/4/2011/SUNA/Vice President of the Republic ,
Uz Ali Osman Mohamed Taha will witness on Wednesday evening the launching of the
cultural season of Khartoum state which includes theatre performances , poetry
nights and arts works, besides the inauguration of Khidir Bashir theatre in
Shambat
The celebration programme includes shows by many artists, singers and
bands. Also many families and notables will be honored
the celebrations will be held under the auspices of Dr. Ali Abdul Rahman
Alkhidir wali of Khartoum state
On his side , the minister of culture and information and tourism Dr.
Mohamed Awad Albaroody said that the launching of the cultural season affirms
the states concern by the cultural issue and the support of the creative people,
adding that the inauguration of Khidir Bashir theatre is a begginnig of a series
of new theatres such as the East Nile theatre, Omdurman and Tabia theatre
He added that next May will witness the activities of the Arabic Poetry
festival to be held in Khartoum in which many Arab and Sudanese poets will
participate
