US Embassy denies holding meetings in Juba for changing the Sudanese State' structure
Khartoum, Feb.15(SUNA)- The Foreign Ministry has received a denial from Embassy of the United States of America in Khartoum about reports that the American consul held a meeting in Juba with Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and Northern leaders to discuss a strategy for changing the structure of Sudanese State
The Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Khalid Musa, said that the Embassy of the United States affirmed the US commitment to its pledges towards Sudan and implementation of understandings reached between officials of the two countries on the importance of maintaining the security and peace in the North and South Sudan and solution of the pending issues, especially that the US administration began procedure for lifting Sudan from the list of tcountries sponsoring terrorism
