Talks between Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Regional Cooperation of South Sudan begin
Khartoum, March 23 (SUNA) - Talks began Wednesday in Khartoum between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Regional Cooperation of the Government of South Sudan, in continuation of the meetings which were held earlier Juba in discussing common political, diplomatic and administrative issues in the context of the new state in the South which will be established after July 9
The opening sitting was addressed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Rahamtalla Mohamed Osman, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation of the Government of South Sudan, Ustaza Salwa Jibril
Meanwhile, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Hassan Ali, Wednesday received the delegation of the Ministry of Regional Cooperation of the Government of South Sudan, which is led by Ustaza Salwa Jibril
The minister was acquainted with progress of the talks between the two ministries in all the ceremonial, consular and legal spheres and issues relating to the files of the southern ambassadors and diplomats at the ministry
The minister pledged to boost the full cooperation between the two ministries toward bolstering the fraternal ties between the North and the South
He affirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to meet all the requirements of the Regional Cooperation Ministry of the Government of South Sudan toward consolidating the relations between the governments of North and South Sudan
A press conference is due to be held Thursday evening at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform about the final results of the talks between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Regional Cooperation of the Government of South Sudan
