Taha Discusses With Austrian Foreign Minister CPA Implementation, South Sudan Referendum

 

Khartoum, Dec.8(SUNA)-Vice-President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohammed Taha on Wednesday discussed with the Austrian Foreign Minister, Michael Spindelegger the latest developments in implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement(CPA) and the South Sudan referendum

 

Following the meeting, Spindelegger said that he told the Vice-President that Austria is ready to help Sudan achieve peace, referring to concern of the international community with what is running in Sudan

 

He added that he had acquainted during the meeting with the Vice-President of the Republic with the latest developments in Sudan

 

State Minister at Foreign Ministry, Kamal Hassan Ali said that the Vice-President praised the Austria's efforts on settlement of Sudanese issues disclosing in this regard meetings of the National Congress and Sudan People's Liberation Movement(SPLM) which were held in Vienna and hosted by Austria

 

He added the Austrian Minister forwarded ideas with respect to interdependence and exchange of benefits in framework of solution of all the problems, saying the idea was applauded

 

The Minister, meanwhile, unveiled that the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa will; host a third conference for National Congress and SPLM in the near future.ASAS.
