Taha Affirms Steadfastness of Sudanese Will and Determination to Realize Peace and Stability
Khartoum, Oct. 21 (SUNA) - Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has affirmed firmness of the Sudanese people will, capability and determination to keep up peace and stability in the country as well as their commitment to safeguarding the security of the nation
Addressing the concluding sitting of the Conference of the East African Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPOCO) at the Friendship Hall Thursday, Vice President of Republic said that Sudan hopes that the coming stage would reflect commitment of the people of Sudan to respect of covenants and agreement and to exercise their political role with patriotic responsibility
He underlined that the political leadership will accept the outcome of the referendum if it was transparent, fair and reflecting the choice of the people of the south Sudan
He asserted that the crime prevails in the communities that does not respect the will of the people and its institutions, values and history, asserting Sudan encouragement and cooperation with the organization in the field of combating the organized and across-border crime with its different types, as well as combating of the crimes threatening citizens properties, psychological and physical health in the domain of drugs combating, false medicine
He referred to the cooperation between the states of the region concerning employment of different resources to realize development and stability for their peoples
He hoped that the cooperation between the EAPOCO countries will continue in the fields of development, economy and trade to add a impetus to the role to the organization in the field of crime combating
