He made the remarks in a meeting with President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad on Monday, during which the twos sides reviewed ways to
expand bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Iranian president underlined the importance of broadening ties
and cooperation between the two sides and said there are suitable
grounds for expansion of all-out cooperation between the two countries.
Close cooperation and coordination between Iran and Sudan would help restore peace and stability, he said.
All should resist bullying powers and the two nations will support
each other to disappoint enemies who seek to harm friendly ties between
the two nations, underlined the Iranian president.
The Sudanese envoy, for his part, called for expansion of relations
between the two countries and said the move will bring more welfare and
security for both nations as well as the entire region.
Iran has long sought to boost ties and cooperation with the African countries in a bid to help them with development.
Tehran and Khartoum concluded several agreements on Iran's
participation in Sudan's major development projects during a recent
visit to Tehran by a Sudanese president's special envoy in November.
