Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir is open to contacts and compromises, as testified to by the unqualified recognition of the outcome of the referendum on self-determination in South Sudan.
This came in a statement by ITAR-TASS following a meeting between the country’s head of state with Russian President’s Special Envoy to Sudan Mikhail Margelov.
According to the official, Sudan hopes that Russian companies will now come to the Sudanese market, particularly to its oil and railway development sectors.
