Sudan Liberation Movement - General Command - calls on Darfur Authority to move mechanisms to Darfur States
Khartoum, March 10 (SUNA) - Chairman of Sudan Liberation Movement - the General Command, Adam Shogar, has called on the Transitional Darfur Regional Authority (TDRA) to move all its mechanisms as well as all the commissions concerned with Darfur to operate in the states of Darfur
This came in a briefing he gave to the parliamentary group of the deputies of Darfur at the National Assembly Thursday at the premises of the National Assembly
Shogar said that any peace agreement must be achieved by virtue of mutual consent of the conflicting parties and that the international forces do not work to protect the peace conventions, but seek to serve their own interests and impose agendas and dictations that maintain their gains
He stressed the necessity of the unity of the movements that have signed the peace agreements and to work with due transparency in order to realize stability and peace in Darfur
He called for maintaining the social fabric of the people of Darfur, besides restoring the confidence between the tribes of Darfur, criticizing the negative role of the Darfurian women who joint the armed movements and adopted cultures strange to the culture of the people of Darfur
The deputies of Darfur commended the brave stances of Shogar and his group as well as their keenness to achieve peace and stability in the region
