State Minister for Foreign Affairs to lead Sudan's delegation to meetings of Arab-African Summit Ministerial Council
Khartoum 6 Oct.(SUNA)- The State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Hassan Ali, is due to lead Sudan delegation for the meetings of the Ministerial Council of the Arab - African Summit, which will be held during October 9 - 11 in Serte, Libya
The Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Muawiya Osman Khalid, told SUNA that the meetings will tackle ways to strengthen existing ties of friendship and neighborhood between the African and Arab countries and to bolster the cooperation so as to meet the aspirations of the African and Arab peoples
He said the meetings will also discuss the joint Arab and African work plan for the coming five years 2011- 2016 as well as the issues of peace, security and economic, commercial and investment cooperation
It is to be recalled that the meetings of the experts began Wednesday with the participation of Sudan envoy to Arab League, Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Siral-Khatim
