South Sudan Referendum Commission announces Closure of Registration Centers
Khartoum, Dec.8(SUNA)-The South Sudan Referendum Commission(SSRC) on Wednesday evening announced the close of registration for referendum of South Sudan which is scheduled to take place in next January
SSRC's Official Spokesman, George Makuer disclosed in press statements that the numbers of Southerners who have been registered were 105,850 in the North Sudan, over 3 million in the South till last Tuesday , and more than 52,000 abroad
He explained that the registration averages reached 60% in the South, 40% in the North and 50% outside the country.ASAS.
