Security Advisory Official Criticizes News Papers for Taking Statement out of Context

 

Khartoum, March 13 (SUNA) - The Secretary General of the Security Advisory, Hassaballa Omer Al-Amin, has affirmed that his statement to Sudan Radio through the Radio Conference Program which was aired last, Friday, was taken out of its context. The Security Advisory official said in a press conference he held, Sunday evening that his one-hour interview to the Sudan Radio which was heard by millions of Sudanese, was not meant what was carried out by the news papers. He indicated that the Islamic Sharia need not to be defended by any one, referring to the consensus it is now enjoying has not happened since the sixteenths when it was introduced as political issue

 

He affirmed that all the political forces responded positively to the principle of the national strategic dialogue which is adopted by the Security Advisory, adding that all parties support Islamic laws. Some of the dailies criticized the Security Advisory with regard to the issue of Sharia Laws in Radio program last week. IF/MO
