Khartoum, Feb. 17 (SUNA) - The Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Dr. Hamad bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Kawari, who is the guest of honor of Al-Tayeb Salih International Award for creative writing affirmed that the participation of the State of Qatar emanates from the evaluation of the beautiful life, it is the loyalty from the country of loyalty for those who deserve it
He emphasized the support of the State of Qatar's to the printing all the works of Al Tayeb Salih
The Qatari minister lauded the deeply-rooted fraternal ties between between the Sudanese and the Qatari peoples and the positive contribution of the Sudanese community in Qatar. He pointed, in his speech Thursday at the opening sitting of the festival of Al Tayeb Salih International Award for Creative Writings at the Friendship Hall, to the effect of Al Tayeb Salih in the State of Qatar, at which he worked in the Ministry of Information, where he contributed to the progress of the Qatari media, besides his role in boosting the cultural life in his country
The Qatari minister also appreciated the participation of the Sudanese community at the activities of Doha as the Arab Capital of Culture in the year 2010
