President of the Republic to inugurate on the 25th of current month Atbara cement factory

 

Atbara /11/1/ 2011/ SUNA/ President of the Republic , Field Marshal Omar Hassan Albashir will inugurate on the 25th of current January Atbara Cement factory , the fourth line which cost amounted to 250 million euro and is implemented by HCRDI Chinese company

 

Atbara Cement factory General Director, Uz Hussien Abduljabar , announced to Suna that all preparations for the opening of the factory has been completed , and that the factory's capacity is 6000 tons / day and covers more than 40% of the country's needs of cement

 

He pointed that last year the produced amounts of cements reached one million tons, while Sudan's needs was 2.400.000 tons , affirming that the factory is one of the best at the regional level in regard to its productive capacity and its excellent international standard

 

He pointed that the factory was designed as friendly to the environment and is the first to employ the northern state peoples explaining that the working opportunities amounted to 650 for the states labors

 

He expressed his trust on the Sudanese cadres , and reviewed the factory's plans to provide varieties of specialized cement products such as bridges cements and oil wells cements besides the administration's efforts to provide the supported bricks blocs for the citizens

 

He called the government to reduce taxes and fees imposed on cement commodity affirming that there is a cota allocated for all citizens to help them build their house

 

Eng. Mohamed Jaffar Ali Gamar said the factory has 5 generating machines working at a capacity of 36 000 kilowat, meanwhile the security advisor of the factory affirmed that the factory's adminstration is adhering to the environmental safety measures and the people and workers safety
