President Al-Bashir to Leave Tuesday for
Qatar
Khartoum, March 28 (SUNA)- President of the Republic,
Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, is due to leave Tuesday for the State of Qatar in
an official two-day visit to hold talks with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin
Khalifa Al-Thani
In a statement to SUNA, the press secretary of the President of the
Republic, Imad Sid-Ahmed, said that the visit comes in the context of the
continuous meetings and consultations between the President of the Republic and
the Emir of Qatar toward discussing ways of the consolidating further the
bilateral relations, Darfur issue as well as a number of issues of mutual
concern
President Al-Bashir will be accompanied during the visit by the Minister
at the Presidency of the Republic, Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, and the Foreign
Minister, Ali Karti
