President Al-Bashir meets leaders of Egyptian parties
Cairo, March 9 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Wednesday met the Guide of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, Dr. Mohamed Badie, and the Chairman of the Egyptian Democratic Front, Osama Ghazal, as part of his meetings with the leaders of the Egyptian Political parties
The meeting touched on the current situation of Sudan with regard to Darfur issue as well as the consequences of the separation of South Sudan from the North and the relations linking Sudan and Egypt
The Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Dr. Mohamed Badie, affirmed the importance of cementing the Sudanese - Egyptian relations in the coming period, explaining that they conveyed their appreciation over President Al-Bashir's visit to Egypt
Chairman of the Egyptian Democratic Front, Osama Ghazal, said that the meeting touched on various aspects of the relations between Sudan and Egypt, saying that boosting of the relations with Sudan is one the strategic interests of Egypt, and that the unity of the Nile Valley will be among the top priorities of the Egyptian Foreign policies in the coming period
