President Al-Bashir lauds Norwegian support to the peace process in Sudan
Khartoum, July 27 (SUNA) - President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir has lauded Norway support to the peace process in Sudan since the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in Naivasha, 2005
President Al-Bashir urged, during his farewell to the outgoing Norweagean ambassador on the occasion of expiry of his assignment to Sudan, the Norway to continue efforts in extending support to the other fields, particularly oil because of its major experience in the domain
Meanwhile, the ambassador affirmed his country readiness to provide technical support for the full implementation the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, commending the advanced relations between his country and Sudan, adding that they are keen on the cooperation between the two countries in the various spheres, especially in the field of petroleum in the future
The Norwegain ambassador referred to the technical assistance his country provides to Sudan and its encouragement to all parties to organize the referendum on time and peacefully
