President Al-Bashir: There will be No Return to War
Khartoum, Oct. 19 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, stressed that there will be no return to war, adding that the government will work to make peace permanent all over the country
Addressing a celebration marking the graduation of a batch of Al-Ribat University's students Tuesday, President Al-Bashir said that the state will support the higher education whatever the result of the referendum. He called on the Sudanese universities to give a special concern to the scientific research and to support the researchers
President Al-Bashir said that Al-Ribat University is known for its academic excellence, united university uniform and academic stability
The State Minister at the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Khamis Kajo Kinda, said that Al-Ribat University with its different academic specializations is promising with graduation of specialists who will contribute to the building of a bright future
Meanwhile, the celebration witnessed awarding the honorary doctorate to Field Marshal Abdul-Rahman Suwaral-Dahab, Abel Aleir, Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, Dr. Ayesha Al-Ghubshawi, Ustaza Agnis Lokodu, Hassan Osman Sakota, and the Turkish Director of Security, Ofas Kann
