More than Three Billion Dollars Donated for Development in East Sudan
Kuwait, Dec. 1 (SUNA)- Total of the financial pledges and commitments of a number of countries and institutions participating at the International Conference for East Sudan, currently being held Kuwait, have reached more than three billion dollars in the first day of the conference, said the Secretary General of East Sudan Development Fund, Engineer Abu-Oneida Mohamed Duj
He said in a statement to SUNA that the participating countries and institutions are expected to declare more donations and commitments on Thursday
SUNA learned that donations declared in the first day of the conference were 500 million dollars from Kuwait, 500 million dollars from Canada, 200 million dollars from Iran, 25 million dollars from China, 30 million dollars from the European Union and 200 million dollars donated by the Arab Fund
