Minister of Science and Technology Affirms his Ministry's Concern with Use of Modern Technology in Various Fields
Khartoum, Dec. 12 (SUNA) - The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Issa Bashari Mohamed, has affirmed the concern of the ministry with scientific research and the use of the modern technology in different fields to reach a comprehensive technological progress
Addressing the meeting of the ministry's council Sunday, Dr. Basahri said that the technologies of Sudan began to take a genuine shape, adding that this task necessitates contribution to the solution of the issues and meeting the needs of the community
He underscored the importance of taking into consideration the economic aspect by the researchers
He referred to the concern of the ministry with the training and capacity building of its cadres for conducting research through which projects are to be launched in the light of the changing world, adding that there must be competent manpower and serious endeavour to create a conducive atmosphere for the qualification of cadres
He emphasized that the success of the research efforts requires solidarity and mobilization of efforts to reach at the aspired development and progress
