Minister of Culture commends role of delegation of EU in organizing European Film Festival in Sudan
Khartoum- Nov. 4 (SUNA) - The State Minister at the Ministry of Culture, Ali Majok Al-Momin, has commended the efforts of the delegation of the European Union in supporting the cultural work in Sudan through organization of the European Film Festival in Sudan
He said that Sudan door is open for to the European Embassies and Cultural Centers to organize similar cultural activities in Sudan
This remark was expressed by the Minister when he was addressing the opening ceremony of the European Film Festival in Sudan at the premises of the the European Union Mission in Khartoum Thursday
The minister highlighted on the unique cultural and tribal diversity in Sudan
SUNA learned that the screening of 18 Movies of the European Film Festival will be taking place in Khartoum from November 6 - 11 and in Juba, south Sudan, during December 29 - 3 January, including movies that won International awards
