Memo of Understanding Signed for Use of Solar Energy in Agriculture
Khartoum, Dec. 15 (SUNA)- The Minister of Sciences and Technology, Dr. Eissa Bashari, Wednesday attended the signing of a memo of understanding between the ministry, the General Secretariat of the National Agricultural Campaign and the Branch of the Australian Tech-Solar company for the use of solar energy for boosting the national economy
The agreement deals with the introduction of modern technology in the fields of irrigation and agriculture and green-houses through utilization of the solar energy
According to the agreement, the products of Tech-Solar Company will be utilized in the fields of water pumps that operate by solar energy, in addition to other technolgies that could be used for expanding the green-house agriculture
