Malawian President chairman of the African Union arrives in khartoum
Khartoum, Jan. 26 (SUNA) President of Malawi chairman of the African Union Bingu wa Monarika arrived in the country this morning , coming from Ivory Coast in an official two-day visit to the country to meet with President of the Republic Field Marshal Omar al-Bashir,and Salva Kiir, Vice President of the Republic Head of Government of the South
TheMalawian President was received at Khartoum Airport by Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Minister of Finance and Mr. Idris Mohamed Abdul Kader, State Minister at the Ministry of the Presidency
It is expected that the talks would cover the developed bilateral relations between the Sudan and Malawi and the latest developments in Sudan after the conduction of the referendum for southern Sudan and the arrangements for the AU Summit to be held in Addis Ababa The Malawi president is due to fly to Juba to meet with Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit
