Livestock at Gebaish Locality Vaccinated against Several Diseases
Gebaish, Dec. 24 (SUNA)- The Director of the Administration of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Environment at Gebaish Locality, engineer Ibrahim Ali Idris, said that the locality is free from any of epidemic that threaten the livestock health, adding that his administration has adopted several means to combat livestock diseases
He said in a statement to SUNA that his administration has vaccinated 200,000 out of 350,000 livestock heads against anthrax, septicemia, smallpox and reinderpest
Engineer Idris said that the pastoral survey revealed that the animal resources in North Kordofan State is 1,523,500 heads, referring the preferential features of the Hamari sheep at the local and international markets
