Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister to arrive Khartoum tomorrow to take part in the meetings of the Joint Ministerial Committee

 

Khartoum, Dec. 21 (SUNA) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah will arrive the country tomorrow to participate in the meetings of the Higher Ministerial Committee between the two countries during which a number of agreements and memoranda of mutual understanding will be signed in different fields of cooperation in economy, agriculture, livestock, mining, higher education and media beside the signing of a loan for the establishment of (setate dam) in Eastern Sudan

 

Meanwhile, the minister of Foreign Affairs Ustaz Ali Karti said that the visit of the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to the country represents one of the aspects of the Kuwaiti's support for development and stability in Sudan The agreements, memorandums of understanding and the executive programs to be signed were agreed upon in the meetings of the Preparatory Committee held in 9-10of this current month in Khartoum

 

It is to be noted that the visit of Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah comes following the convention of Eastern Sudan Donors and Investors conference in Kuwait early this month in which Kuwait donated 500mellion dollars of the size of the financial contributions and commitments that reached 3bl$ for the development of eastern Sudan
