Head of the Bar: Talk about lack of legitimacy of the government after the elections just a political bargain

Khartoum, Dec. 28 (SUNA) Head of Sudan Bar Association, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al-Khalifa has affirmed that the expected separation of the South will not cause a disaster in the north , indicating that the most important changes that will occur on the Interim Constitution is the cancellation of the chapters and sections concerning the south after separation, that until issuance of the permanent constitution of the country

He said that the practices of the SPLM during the interim period have created supporters for the separation even in the north; stressing that t the outcome of the referendum will not be accepted unless it is transparent, free and it reflects the will of the people of the South Dr. al Khalif during his address Tuesday to the seminar of the political system and the Constitution " the vision on post-referendum", organized by the Political Secretariat of the National Congress party in Khartoum in the Friendship Hall, he described the talk of the opposition on the lack of legitimacy of the government after the elections as a mere political bargaining, he said that those who think that the separation will weaken the government are dreaming and that the national congress is not an exclusionary party , denying in this regard to be submitted to the options on the rotating presidency or the Sovereignty Council in the presence of an elected president

He retreated not to quit the multilateralism and the available freedoms and resorting to the means of democracy in the devolution of power , stressing that there is no room for the People's Movement to exercise any kind of political activity in the north in case of separation , noting that the absence of the Movement from the political action in the north will cause crises to the weak parties which linked their own destiny and hopes to get to power, and will become more vulnerable to suffer from the lack program, and that this government will continue to the end of the electoral cycle, and the talk about legitimacy is just delusions, he said
