ÇHead of UNAMID commends Germany's role in supporting peace-keeping forces
Al-Fasher, Nov. 8 (SUNA)- Head of the United Nations - African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), Professor Ibrahim Gombari, met Monday with a delegation of German Leftist Party where he briefed them on the deployment of UNAMID forces in Darfur and the challenges facing the mission
Prof. Gombari lauded the role of Germany in supporting the peace-keeping forces in the World wide
Meanwhile, the UNAMID announced the Prof. Gombari will hold a press conference next Sunday during which he will review the latest developements in Darfur, especially in the security field, the preparations being made by the mission in boosting the political process, outcome of the meetings of consultative forum on Sudan which took place on November 7th
