Hayatu Appreciates Sudan Hosting to African Nations Championship
Khartoum, Feb. 3 (SUNA)- Chairman of the Confederation of African Football, Eissa Hayatu, has appreciated the efforts being exerted by Sudan for hosting the African Nations Championship for Local Players in Khartoum, Wad Medani and Port-Sudan
At a press conference Thursday evening Al-Fatih Tower Hotel, Hayatu pointed to the return of Uganda and Niger to competition in the championship. He underscored the importance of the use of the Internet to and other forms of modern technology in broadcasting the news of the championship
Hayatu referred to the good hosting of Sudan to the African Nations Championship in the year 1970
Meanwhile, the Media Advisor of the Confederation of African Football, Suleiman Haboba, announced that the electronic website of the confederation was launched in the Arabic language
