Gration meets delegations of Massariya and Dinka Ngok in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa Oct. 6 (SUNA)- The American envoy for peace in Sudan, Scott Gration, met in Addis Ababa Wednesday with delegations of Massariya and Dinka Ngok tribes, separately
An informed sources told SUNA that the Dinka Nogk and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) rejected a proposal forwarded by the American Envoy that Massariaya are to be given petroleum and use pastures southern the borders of first January 1956, in the case that the referendum resulted in the separation
He added that the Massariya insisted on their full rights in Abyei, including the right to vote in referendum, enjoy the wealth of the area and the right of participation in power
