Forum of Friends of Nile Basin Countries to begin in Khartoum on October 15
Khartoum, Oct. 8 (SUNA) - Meetings of the Forum of the Friends of the Nile Basin Countries are to begin in Khartoum on October 15, in the presence of a number of officials and the concerned parties
An informed source at the forum's committee explained to SUNA that the forum would review a number of issues concerning the Nile Basin states
He said that the forum aims to making closer the views among the counitries of the Nile Basin
He said that the constitution of the forum would also be reviewed, besides selection of the forum's new board and mapping out plans to boost the development process in the participating countries
It is to be rcalled that the friends of the Nile Basin States, include beside Sudan, representatives of Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Congo, Burndi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya and Egypt
The forum aims to disussing issues pertinent to the Nile basin states and formulation of plans for enhancement of these issues
