Foreign Ministry Urges Sudanese nationals in Libya to be vigilant and take Necessary Precautions
Khartoum, Feb 21 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed all the Sudanese nationals to be vigilant and to protect their lives and properties until the situation returns to normal
The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Khalid Musa, said in a press statement Monday that the ministry has reactivated the joint mechanism between Sudan and Libya to follow up the conditions of the Sudanese who are living in Libya, adding that his ministry has worked out plans and programs to face the current situation in Libya including evacuation of the Sudanese nationals if necessary
He indicated that the ministry is observing closely the developments in Libya through its embassy in Tripoli and Sudan's Consulate in Benghazi
The Foreign Ministry's official said that he does not rule out involvement of Darfur rebels in the ongoing incidents in Libya
