Five Superintendents of Kassala Mission for School Tournament Die in Traffic Incident, 27 Students Injured Near Getaina

Khartoum, Dec. 10 (SUNA) - Five supevisors of the school mission of Kassala State for participation at the School Tournament have died and 27 students were injured in a traffic incident near Getaina town, the White Nile State, while they were aboard a bus en route from Al-Obeid city to Khartoum, announced the State Minister at the federal Ministry of Education and chairperson of the higher committee for the School Tournament. She said in a statement to SUNA that the 27 injured students were taken to Khartoum and Eastern of the Nile Hospitals, adding that six of them are suffering different fractures and the others were slightly injured and their conditions are stable. Names of the five superintendents who died in the traffic incident are Samiya Ahmed Abdul-Gadir, Muneer Ibrahim, Alam-Eddin Awad, Muhanad Awad Tahir and Adam Al-Sheikh Osman. MO/MO
