First vice president and president of the south government meets the AUPD president
Khartoum /27/ 10/ SUNA/ First Vice President and president of the government of South Sudan Silva Kirr Myardet, met at his residence in Khartoum today with Mr. Thabo Mbeki president of the African Union Panel on Darfur (AUPD) and reviewed the process of implementing the comprehensive Peace Agreement and means of solving the suspended issues between the two partners
Mbeki said in a statement to SUNA that they will continue discussing the suspended issues to reach a satisfying solution for the two parts, specially in regard to the issue of Abei which will be discussed in Ethiopea between the two partners in the coming days
He retiereated the pledges of the two parties by implementing the CPA and to review all the possible solutions for realization of the country's settlement
He also said the coming period needs intensification of all efforts to reach the goals which the Sudanese people expect such as prevalence of peace and settlement
