Cairo, March 26 (SUNA) - The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr Nabeel Al Arabi, has affirmed that the coming visit of the Egyptian Prime Minister Isam Sharaf and the 7-minister accompanying delegation to the Sudan sends a strong message abut the importance of Sudan for Egypt and of Egypt to the Sudan
Al Arabi has pointed out in statements following his reception of the African Union Commission Chairman Jean Ping that the visit to the prime Minister to the Sudan would review with Sudanese officials a number of issues top of which the economic cooperation between the two countries and all domains including the Nile water issues. It would also underscore that Sudan is the most important country to Egypt
Ping has meanwhile said he reviewed with the Egyptian official the current situation in the African continent as well as the situation in the Sudan and in Libya which are neighbors to Egypt and that it was important to get the view of Egypt on the development in those two countries
