Dr Nafie: CPA is Unity Agreement in its Essence
Khartoum, Oct. 24 (SUNA)- Deputy Chairman of the National Congress (NC) for Party's Affairs, Dr Nafie Ali Nafie, affirmed that the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in its essence is an agreement of unity, but not one for separation, asserting that the NC will back up every dialogue that supports the unity of the country
Addressing the Ninth Women Leaders Deliberation Forum, Dr. Nafie said that the people of south Sudan will vote for unity if they freely cast their votes, calling for adherence to peace and unity
Dr Nafie, meanwhile, reviewed the government efforts for solution of Drafur issue, referring to the new strategy put by the government on Darfur issue
He affirmed the importance of commitment to dialogue resolving Darfur issue internally before the coming referendum
