Khartoum, Dec. 28 (SUNA) - The Presidential Advisor, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, Tuesday evening left for Doha on a several-day visit during which he will hand over a written message from the Presidenr of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, dealing with the firm relations between Sudan and Qatar and ways to consolidate them as well as the developments in Sudan

In a statement to SUNA, Dr. Ismail said that he would meet during his visit to Qatar with a number of senior Qatari officials to discuss progress of the bilateral relations and ways for cementing them as well as issues of mutual concern

Dr. Ismail has appreciated the great efforts being played by Qatar for solving Darfur issue
